Dear maumee,
Please be more specific on how many times it flashes. Canon printer has about more than 15 variation of flashing LED. Check here to find out about LED flashing error description.

Canon ip100 portable printer ink cradle stuck on right hand side

I had this same problem. Count the number of blinks in sequence of the error light. it will flash green and yellow, and then just straight yellow for a number of flashes, then it will flash green again and the same number of yellow flashes again. Here is the diagnostic guide.

Two flashes: Printer is out of paper. Paper does not feed

Three flashes: Paper jam

Four Flashes: The Print Head Lock Lever is not locked properly / Ink tank is not installed properly. / Ink may have run out

Five flashes: Print Head is not installed./ Print Head is defective

Eight flashes: Ink absorber is almost full

Nine flashes:No response from connected digital camera or video camcorder/Connected digital camera or video camcorder is not compatible with this printer./PictBridge compliant devices are attached to both Direct Print Port and Bluetooth Unit Connector

Eleven flashes: Automatic Print Head Alignment failed

Twelve Flashes: Low battery level

Fifteen Flashes: Ink tank cannot be recognized

Seventeen Flashes: Ink has run out

Eighteen Flashes: Printer detected ink out condition

Nineteen Flashes: A USB hub is connected

Mine had 10 Flashes and the Print Carriage, was bad. Cost almost as much as another printer so thats what I did. I did take it apart and got it unstuck, but still didn't work.

7 orange light flashes and 1 green light flashes

This means that the ink cartridges have not been installed correctly.
Make sure that the black ink cartridge is installed in the left socket and the colored is in the right socket.
Make sure that you hear the click sound confirming that the cartridge has been placed correctly.

When i plug in the printer and turn it on, the green light flashes alternately with a yellow light, displaying the number 2 on the little screen (green, yellow, green yellow...)

Greetings - According to the MP210 manual the error is "the machine is out of paper/paper does not feed."
The remedy according to the manual is "reload the paper correctly and press the Black or Color button."
Hope that does it.

The FINE cartridge cannot be

recognized.

Possible causes are as follows:

Install the appropriate FINE Cartridge. If lines are misaligned or the resulting output

CANON I350 DOES NOT PRINT

Green and yellow is a service error, but it flashes a longer green, and then the green yellow flashes, and a longer green again. You need to count the number of yellow-greens in between the longer green flashes, to know the error code.

Canon ip1800 printer not working

Hi,

when the yellow led flashes is never a good signal... you should check the manual's printer to find out the error code meaning "4 yellow flashes and 1 green)
Usally it's the waste tank that is full, in this case you need to:

  1. Push “resume” for 5 seconds for canon IPXXXX.
  2. Push Power switch then remove power cord.
  3. Insert plug power cord while pressing “power switch” at the same time.
  4. Push Start/reset by step 2 continue Wait display shown “0′
  5. Push + change display from “0′ to “1′
  6. Push color button 2 times
  7. Push Power switch again , Printer will print 1 page
  8. Open cover
  9. Unplug power cord
  10. Take out ink cartridge #40 and #41
  11. Insert plug again
  12. Push power switch
  13. Open cover (scan cover)
  14. Insert ink cartridge #40 and #41 again
