Question about Gateway ACT Refurbished LUCENT /CLARENT/ACT SDM 9350 V352 ACT (SDM9350) Firewall
ACT SDM 9350 Onshore ACT Mux configured as FXO and offshore ACT MUX configured as FXS. Problem. Every calls run smoothly except. caller call offshore number example: 12345678 no body pick up at offshore. Caller hanged up, but the offshore phone still ringing. Expert, please assist me on this matter. Thanks alot Warmest Regards
A long standing problem with FXO's and FXS connections is the latency in Voip and signaling. That is there is a delay from the time sent to time received. There should be software settings to adjust the delay. I would refer back to the manufacture of the FXO card and see if there are any software patches or upgrades. This is a software problem.
