I can't self clean the oven because it says remove racks. They are all out, including side racks. Switch isn't jammed on the left side.

Hello Laurie, thank you for your post!
Based off what you have described your Electrolux wall oven will not start self-clean due to the oven stating the racks need to be removed. You may need to perform a reset on the oven to clear out the code. A reset can be done by disconnecting power from the oven for at least ten minutes this can usually be done by flipping the household circuit breaker off. If that does not help to correct the issue you may need to have a professional out to your home for a proper diagnosis and repair. -Matt

I must replace the oven liner on our Frigidaire 30" slide-in range (Model CPES3085KF2). I don't know how to do it and haven't found instructions is there any instructions on this at all

Good Morning Joe Belchoir, thanks for your post!

I see you need assistance replacing the liner inside of your Frigidaire range. Typically, this is not a simple DIY job. I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home for proper disassembly of the inside of your oven and reassembly of bottom panel. This will help you to avoid any personal injury and future issues. Best of luck! -Matt

I have a Frigidaire oven that is over heating. I turn it on to 350 and the temp goes up to 500. Were is the sensor located and am I able to change the thermostat myself???thank you,

My guess is it's in the oven box towards the top. looks like an ice pick and screws to the oven wall. Find where the wire feeds through the wall and remove the access cover behind it. It can be disconnected and checked for ohms. No model number, so replacement parts are easy to look up by model number. 25315439-zejmo41uy3tce5x43qikgza0-5-0.jpg

I have a frigidaire professional, I am unable to close the oven door. I have a effortless oven rack systems

Good Afternoon Nancy,

I understand that you are unable to close your Frigidaire range door, model# FPGF3081KF. I would check to make sure that there is nothing blocking the door from closing. Make sure that the racks are in fully, and that the hinges on the door are not hindering the door from closing. If everything is fine there, make sure that the door locking mechanism is not engaged. If the locking mechanism is engaged, what you will want to do is press and hold down the oven lockout button for 5-10 seconds, while the door is still open. Give it about 15-30 seconds and the lock should retract. If none of these suggestions help, I would contact either the manufacturer or a local authorized technician for further assistance.

-Best Regards-

  • 3 Turn the oven off and spray the inside with oven cleaner.

Oven will not heat up properly.

Unplug the machine. Remove the door and racks unscrew the element being careful not to loose the wires or you might have to get the stove out from the wall. Tip: pull the bottom drawer out and you can usually unplug the power without disturbing the stove.

    Oven racks

    Hello bargarmar

You said, Your Jen-Air stove's oven racks keep falling after the heats been on. This is scary and unsafe. Your gas range is only 2 years old.

This may be caused by the racks being left inside the range when using the self cleaning system. Which can cause the racks to become warped and or discolored.
If they are warped they may not sit even in the oven while baking and also move or change their shape
form the heat every time you use the warped racks in the oven.

If you leave the oven light on before you start the oven and watch the racks as they warm up with weight on them you will see if this is the case.
Then you will want to replace them.
    Let me know what happens.
