E10 error on Frigidaire GLTF2940ES

We have recently been getting an E10 error on our washing machine when we run a load. It does not seem to be specific to a particular wash cycle or the weight of the load. It stops the wash cycle two or three times during each load, but will restart when we push the button. Any ideas?

I searched the internet for a list of error codes for the washing machine. The E10 error code indicates an interuption in water supply among other things. We checked the supply lines and found that the screen on the cold water line had been blocked by sediment ( we have well water, and just replaced the pump).

Yes, I went through the same thing, the well water completely clogged the intake screen on the cold side. I went ot you tube and found a video to remove the whole assembly (two screws) and was able to clean the screen and the assembly with a small brush (My golf shoe brush) and now it works perfect.

Error code E10

Hi walleyejigge - Typically error code E10 indicates that the unit takes too long to fill with water. Is the incoming water flow normal? If it is not, the unit could possibly have a faulty pressure switch, inlet valve assembly or main control board. I would strongly recommend consulting a professional to narrow down the precise issue before investing in parts that may or may not be the root cause. You can often locate a qualified tech through the manufacturer website.

E10 code occured after the start of the Normal wash cycle. No water entered into the machine

Hello
A e10 error is water supply, usually clogged screens in the hose hookup part of the machine.

Remove hoses and unclog and remove any debirs from the screens. You can use a toothpick or a small tooth brush.

Unplug machine while doing this.Once done and screens are clean, hook hoses back up and try washer again.

I have an frigidaire front load Mod.# GLTF2940ESO with an recurring E10 error message. HELP!!

E10 code indicates there is no water supply. This can be confirmed by :
  1. Shut off the faucet to stop water supply to the washer.
  2. Disconnect and pulling the supply hose off the washer to confirm the E10Code
    • Opening the faucet and watch for running water

E10 also means that your cold water is coming in too slow, disconnect the cold water hose and check to see if the screen on your washing machine is clogged. If the screen is clean and the hose has good pressure then you will need to replace the water valve on your machine--- this is the piece that the hoses directly connect to.

I've been having this issue with my washing machine (front loader-energy efficient),Frigidaire, ATF7000ES1, every time I do a load of laundry it "errors" out every 7 minutes and stops and I have to go down...

this code is general fault code.the first thing to replace would be the door lock mechanism.i have replaced a control board before when there was a similar problem with another machine.

E10 error and fabric softner

Close your inlet valve at the wall. Unscrew your washer hose to examine any blockage in the small filter screens; clean out thoroughly and refit carefully, check for any water leak on opening the valve fully. If you have 2 inlets for the machine it would be good to get an F or Y adaptor.

Pl rate if helped................
