Question about Sony Ericsson Cell Phones

W810i Bluetooth, can search for other devices, but never finds any.scan through "My devices" sequences but never locks on.

    Blue tooth antenna not making contact with PCB. Must have dropped at some time.

After firmware update ( that will be solution 30% ) u should open phone and replace or just make sure that bluetooth antenna is in correct place. Maybe it don't have contact on PCB.

Does phone find anything in short range?

Hi , my friend gave me a madcatz bluetooth ear pierced for me to use for my ps3 ....i been clicking ..settings , then manage bluetooth devices , (every website says i should click "register bluetooth...


You need to put the device into pair mode, consult the instruction manual with how to do that (usually means hold the power button until you get a blue/red flash) when you have the device in pairing mode, when you search it will show up.

go to the bluetooth option in the w810i and delete all the devices enlisted under my devices..then do a fresh search and pair it again,,connect it.tats it..if it doesnt work,,contact the manufacturer coz it will b hardware problem

Bluetooth connection problems


the problem may b with some bluetooth settings…sometimes what happens is that bt visibility of ur bluetooth device is not shown to all…so kindly cheak these sett and verrify them according to ur handset manuall as suggested by Sony Erricsson…
