It is 22 degrees here in Dallas, Tx and my heater doesn't seem to want to get it any warmer than 67 degrees. My unit is only a couple years old along with my Honeywell TH6220D. Just wondering if it could...

em means emergency heat, which means you have a heat pump.check out door unit,it might be all froze up,or covered in snow, sweep snow off gently. if it's froze up its not defrosting and you need a service call.if your back up heat is not working there might be little window on furnace, look for flashing light inside.if light is steady on its working.

No heat after installing honeywell thermostat H8110U

hook up the blue wire in the furnace cabinet where the blower section and the other thermostat wires are connected to the furnace. the thermostat you have uses a common wire from the thermostat to the furnace and this needs to be hooked up in the furnace otherwise you will have the problem you are having.

I have a honeywell th6110d1005 in my house i just had built. went to adjust the thermostat on heat and it will go down but wont go above 59

take the face off of your thermostat or open the front cover. there will be selector swithces the say HE, HG, and possibly one for heat pump. Heat electric and heat Gas. Make sure it is set to the type of furnace that you have. The wire should be red to the rh or rc terminal.(Should have a jumper wire), yellow wire to the y terminal, White to the w terminal which is for heat, and green to the g terminal. there is another adjustment to be made on the heat anticipator, but you would need an amp meter to set properly

Honeywell HE260 housing melted/deformed

Humidifiers are made from a very durable heat resistant plastic. If it melted or warped you have a serious overheating problem. That plenum should not get over 140 to 155 degrees. If this furnace is running to hot it could stress and crack your heat exchanger. Install a good carbon monoxide detector in your home!!!! Check your filters. Check your airflow. Make sure all registers in the house are open. Is your blower speed set high enough? If this furnace is operating to hot it is definitely worth the investment to have a pro look at it before you replace the humidifier.
Is this overheating problem new? Or was this something thar happened years ago and may have since been solved But you are just now noticing the heat damege that was caused.
