No sound from my ibm i have tried reinstalling soundMax but still no sound

The issue is with sound drivers.

I Accidently Deleted SoundMAX from my laptop. Now I can't hear any sounds.


If you reinstall Sound Driver your problem will be resolved.

If you don't have a sound driver for your laptop please tell me your serial number, part number and your laptop model.

Sound card on IBM R50 THINKPAD

Your sound card is "SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio".The chipset manufacturer name is "SoundMax".It's very hard to define what sound comes with any Notebook if the driver is not installed.We too search the Internet according to the Notebook company,model,series etc.

If you need the driver,here is the download link

Your Sound card support only Windows XP, 2000, 98SE.

Hi, audio goes off after few seconds for IBM T42.

You may be installing the wrong verision of the driver or installing it the wrong way.
