Question about Tomtom ONE XL GPS
Hi Ken, Unfortunalty it's about 90% certain you need a new screen . Its not economical to fit a "new" one as they are very expensive so its best to look out for a used but broken tomtom on Ebay. Make sure you buy one with a good screen though. Swapping the screen isn't too difficult for someone with some Electronic DIY skills but you will need the special 'star' screwdrivers ( often known as Torx ) sets to get into the casing . Once inside , its fiddly but do-able. You should only pay out about £20 max for a broken TomTom , if you don't see any at that price , wait a few days and you will see something eventually. I might be able to help you as I do have several broken tom's here but with good screens , however it depends what model you have. If you are in UK , let me have some contact / email and we can get in touch if you want to go that route. Good Luck. ....
