Hi there,

did your system to press F1 to continue. not try to go on BIOS setup. on booting process press F2 or Delete tab. and then click on safe mode if the booting will continue to run. come up a confirmation if you continue in safe mode click yes. and then work on that system for a couple of minutes, and then restart you pc.

you have too many start up programs. that why it will freeze during start up.

Sounds like your system needs a anti-virus issue. Restart the system hitting the F8 key as it begins to start until it the system gives you option of how to start the system scroll down to "LAST GOOD CONFIGURATION THAT WORKED" click on that. The system should start as normal, once it has go to your anti-virus and run that - then go and do a system restore to a point before it began having the freezing problem. This usually comes from movie sites with pop ups do not click on pop up only go to sites you initiate.

Check your Fuel Filter, especially if your in a cold climate that has already reached freezing temps. If you have any moisture in your fuel system and the freezing temps have arrived the filter and injectors can freeze up slightly causing this type of problem. If this was happening in warmer temperatures check the fuel system for pin hole leaks that could be allowing the air into the system.

My computer, Windows XP, freezes when I use Firefox

Your system loaded with Windows Xp Operating System might get affected by various viruses and malware. The antivirus softwares installed in your system for the removal and prevention of viruses from your system cause the freezing issue. This antivirus softwares might take too many time to load and it also make the entire system slow to boot. The antivirus programs result in the freezing of the Windows Xp during start up. Thus you need to temporary uninstall the antivirus software during the start up of your system.

Hi,
There should be 2 reasons for your netbook freez
1. Having many programs on start up.
Solution:
Goto Start > run and then enter msconfig
Then click start up..
Now uncheck the programs that are not important on start up.
My advice is , except antivirus, uncheck all..
If you are unsure., just click disable all
Click OK
Now restart..

2. If the above solution is not done any good, the freeze may be of operating system problem.. try installing the operating system again or go to the nearest service center to do it..

Wishes.. : )
