If the pink/red coloration is on a dim (darkened) screen, then I would say your Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL) is going out. About a $15.00 part but tricky to install. You might want to pay for a technician. Or, if you think your able to do it, follow this link to an example instruction. These instructions are on a laptop screen, but the same principles apply. If the screen is very bright and just the colors are bothering your, then I would says it's just a HUE adjustment on the monitor.
