Problem with my digital camera

Hi!
I have BenQ DC S30 Digital Camera. It fall down from about 30 cm and after thah I have this problems!
When I turn on my digital camera on screen it appears:
cover open
0008
and after that on screen it appears benq start picture and after 3 sek. the digital camera turns off.
Please help me!!!

I also have the same problem, would appreciate it if you get a respone to let me know what happens,address is:pinzonet@e-wire.net.au in the meantime I will check back to see if you get any replies.
