Re: Problems during boot

This is windows unable to get to passed the lower bios memory before windows takes over with the normal memory. Check your cmos battery is'nt low, or reset the bios JBAT1 terminal from pins 1-2 to 2-3 then back again as the loop could be corrupt bios or a peice of hardware that cannot be started.

My computer is blue screening when i first load it up windows 64 bit home edition gigabyte k8n sli motherboard

During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS you can load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults ,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart
During the boot process tap the f8 button three times this will boot into safe mode where the only things working will be your mouse and keyboard enabling you to attempt to repair your computer
hope this helps

So it sounds like you are able to enable SLI mode, but once you do, you have no video output (upon reboot). The most likely problem is that it's now in SLI mode, but your monitor cable is hooked up to the wrong video card; try changing it to the other video card, and see if you have output from that one.

Will not display anything when booting up.

does your motherboard has a builtin video card? u probably connected your monitor to it which supposed to be connected to your new installed video card.
