My All in One Lexmark X5155 prints blank pages. It sounds as if it is doing its thing, but the pages are coming out blank. The ink cartridges are new. and installation procedure with trial sheet produces zero results. Have followed all the trouble shooting procedures, nothing works
take out the ink cartridges from printer
Take a tissue paper and make it damp with water
Then CLean the bottom part of cartridge where you see some golden contacts , just wipe it off with damp tissue .
Check if there is any ink coming on the tissue or not .
If No ink coming out , may be u forgot to pull out the protective tape or there is no ink inside the cartridge

It could be that your cartridge nozzles need some cleaning. Long period of non-usage can lead to drying of ink and clogging in the cartridge nozzles. To clean the cartridge nozzles using the Lexmark software on your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark X1200 Series folder > select Lexmark Solution Center. From the maintenance tab, select Clean to fix horizontal streaks. Your printer will then print a page forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean them. Then try to print your document again to verify that the cartridges are functioning now.
Doing the "clean printhead/cartridge nozzles" multiple times would have cleared clogged nozzles. You can also try to manually wipe the cartridge nozzles with a slightly moistened soft cloth. If that still won't help, try to replace your cartridge with a different known working cartridge to determine if your other cartridge is faulty.
This is a possibility however I can't be positive unless I were there to check it myself... where the printer hasn't been used in years it is highly possible that the ink in the cartridges has dried up. This is not uncommon.
It's also possible that the outlet for the ink on the cartridge itself is blocked with dried ink. You could place the ink cartridge itself in a saucer of nail polish remover (covering the electronic looking portion of the ink cartridge. Leave it there for 30 minutes. Blot dry it with a cloth and replace it into your printer. Try to print once again.
If this doesn't work, you most likely need new ink cartridges. Considering the cost of the ink cartridges for your printer, you are better off buying a new printer in which new ink cartridges are included. A new printer should only cost a little more than the cost of new ink cartridges. Considering you only require am all in one home use printer. Check online sites and check stores as there are usually sales ongoing.
Some third party cartridges will not work with your printer as they are remanufactured from used cartridges.
It is more expensive to buy genuine Lexmark ink, but atleast you know it will work.
You may try reinstalling the driver before buying new ink.
I hope this helps.
