Question about Philips 32PF7320A 32 in. LCD Television

Blinking red light, doesn't turn on Philips 32".

Model type is 32PF7320A, it just blinks and doesn't respond to the power button. Is there a reset button somewhere? I've tried unplugging for a few seconds, but nothing happens.

When I attempt to power on my Phillips 50" Flatscreen TV, the green light turns on for a second, then it shuts off and gets replaced by a red blinking light. The only way I can get the tv to work is by unplugging it multiple times and turning it on until the red light goes away and the tv comes on.

My 42" Philips LCD was "blinking red" last night. Fixed by unplugging for a bit. I've read this is potentially the start of (fatal) power supply issues, so I'd like to know more, and understand if I should be concerned. I've got one week left on my 1 year waranty! :(

One thing I've not been able to find online: what are the POST codes for Philips TVs? Mine was blinking 5 long blinks followed by 3 short blinks. I'd like to understand what that means...

    Thanks!

Two red blinks of the power red light

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power led, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. Did you figure out why the ac wasn't responding to the remote? I am having the same problem. I just cleaned out the filters but it's still not responding to the remote. I have already tried reset button in the remote, which didn't help. I am pretty sure that the remote is not out of battery.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.
Counting of number of blinks to Philips TVs is entirely different to that of other brand TVs. It is not a direct count procedure. The site have details about how to count the number of LED blinks [Fault Codes] to Philips brand TVs are given; along with details of the faulty circuit location.

Red blinking led

My 42" Philips LCD did the same red blinking sequence last night. All was seemingly fine after unplugging it for a bit. An online search, though, has me worried that this may be the start of (potentially fatal) power supply issues. Anyone have a clue what that sequence means?

I've got one week left on my 1yr waranty, so I'm a bit concerned! :(

Thanks!
