Question about HP Compaq Presario SR2011WM PC Desktop
When I turn the monitor on, it says VGA Input: No Signal, and goes to sleep. I heard from an employee at a computer store that it could be the video card. I opened the back of my Compaq Presario SR2011WM to try and remove the video card, but it seemed to be connected with the entire computer chip. I would like to know if the video crd is actually the problem, and if it is, then I need to know how to remove it to replace it with another one.
If it was your video card, you would have no picture at all. Try to boot in safe mode and do into your options and make sure your hibernation is not on. Only other thing I can think of, it could be *********** board.

from what you have described it appears that the onboard video might have malfunctioned, there is no way to replace it, you can however go buy a video card from your nearest computer retailer. you just want to make sure it is compatible with your machine. on another note from what your saying the keyboard is donig i would be wary about spending to much $$ because it could also be your motherboard
