Stovetop heating elements turn off and on intermittently. They don't stay on.

The heating elements on an electric stovetop are controlled be a control called a reohstat. The reohstat regulates the temperature to the elements and as such they do cycle on and off during use. If you turned the control to low and the element stayed on all the time it would get too hot and burn what you're cooking.

The stove settings go on like normal when the oven is turned on in eitehr Bake or Grill mode, but the heating elements stay cold. There is no sign of burn damage to any of the wires on the back and all...

First check that your circuit breaker is not tripped. There are two breakers ganged together, one feeds the 240V to the elements, the other powers the control board. So it's possible that one side can be tripped and cause your symptom.

Also, you may have elements that have failed, but usually not both at same time!

Next most likely cause is a thermal fuse. These are safety devices, most ovens have a least one mounted on the chassis that, if tripped, interrupts the power to the elements but not the control board. They are not resettable but have to be replaced if tripped.

You may have a problem with the control in which case you could have us rebuild it:

Elements and light in stove work but clock and stove do

The issue would have to be in the clock or the power wire going to the clock.

The clock controls the power to the oven elements and there are no fuses or other devices to control the elements.

The oven and broiler will no longer come on, but all stovetop elements and controls work fine. While preheating, a loud pop was heard, and the circuit breaker in the basement tripped. When we switched...

check the continuity on both your elements as well as the wiring to the unit itself.
if both the elements are good and the wiring is fine then you need to replace the electronic control board

Oven does not get hot enough to bake ,the broiler and bake elements get hot,but not hot enough to broil or bake items. Is it my elements or my control switches from this early 60`s oven/range ?

Probably a failure to get 240 volts to those elements.
If burners work, then it's probably an oven CONTROL(S)l failure. Test them if you know how. Very difficult to find parts for a stove that old.

Bake or broil elements won't work.

First,go to the electric circuit panel. Turn the range breaker OFF then back ON. If that does not correct the problem you will have to replace the electronic control(clock) for the oven.

Both heating elements in the oven not working. I did inspect the h. elements found no burn. thankyou help

Ok, you can confirm element failuer by testing for continuity with a Ohm meter. A burned out heating element will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Replace the element if found defective.

You can usually tell when the element itself burns out. It might have small holes or bubbles on the coil. Replace the element, if found defective.

Another reason, why the elements would not start, might be a defective infinite switch (located behind the control panel, with the burner knob on its shaft). Replace the switch if found defective.

If the elements show continuity, you will need to replace the entire control board(clock, EOC)..

FRIDGIDAIRE RANGE

It is most likely the pop came from a relay on the control board if the elements checked ok but not getting power to them. This is fairly common on fridgidaire ranges. Replace the oven control. Usually the control overlay is sold as a separate piece.
