I purchased the AMW15US and am using it on my laptop with Windows Vista but I want t know if there is a way I can personalize the features of the buttons and options it has. My old mouse had a shortcut for the taskbar with these options, but I can't seem to find one for this mouse.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

Have a look at the bottom of your laptop and you should see a Windows label which will have the Produce key printed on the label.
Borrow a Windows installation CD, must be the same as the Windows version that is printed on the label eg. Windows XP Home, or Windows XP Professional or one of the Windows Vista versions.
Use this CD to reinstall Windows on your laptop.
If you haven't got a Windows label, you need to purchase a new Windows install CD or if you have a old version of Windows 98 or ME to can purchase a Windows Vista upgrade which is much cheaper than buying a new Windows Vista.
First of all you cannot put an xp upgrade into Vista, they are 2 different Operating systems. Yo would have to partition the hard drive to use a different "vista" operating system. And would to purchase Vista. .
The mouse worked initially....have you tried doing a system restore back to a few weeks ago to see if that solves the problem.. With Vista and so many of it's incompatibility issue's...you maybe have downloaded something and it corrupted your software for that mouse...
Here is the url with vista drivers. Redownload the drivers and install...see if this helps
You can upgrade from your current edition of Microsoft Windows XP or
Windows 2000 to a corresponding or better edition of Windows Vista by
purchasing and installing an upgrade copy of Windows Vista. While selecting the edition of Windows Vista that's right for you, it's
important to clearly understand what hardware your PC will need to
ensure the features you want will run reliably.
