To avoid losing the file forever, do NOT save any more files on your computer until you can get software from Norton (or another company that makes Undelete software. This software finds and restores files that have been deleted. (Have you checked your Recycle bin to see if your computer just happened to put the deleted file there? If so, you're home free--the file can be easily restored.)

On the other hand, if it's been truly deleted. you have a chance of restoring it with Undelete software. Here's what happens: When a file is deleted, it doesn't really go away. Files are put in boxes called "clusters" and when the file is deleted, the computer puts a mark (such as a "$" sign telling the computer that that cluster or group of clusters can be used for future use. That's why it's so important that you don't ask your computer to file a new file so you avoid the computer possibly overwriting the new file over your old one. If the new file is short and there are several "open" clusters before your photo file, the new file will likely go into one of the sorter, earlier clusters first.

Best luck!

How do I download my Kodak DX 4330 software when it is not compatible?

Copy it off of someone else's computer that has it. Install on yours.

They didn't come out with Win7 drivers and software for the DX4330?

Then you'll have to use a computer that has WinXP / Win Vista, whatever, except Win7.

Does the DX4330 have a memory card?
Take it out, put it in the appropriate Card Reader slot, in your desktop computer.

Download photos.

Card Reader isn't compatible?

Take your desktop computer outside. Set it on the road. Asphalt or concrete is OK. Tie a long rope to it, and the neighbors pickup.
Tell him there is a gasoline sale. "Go boy, fetch"

Kernel_data_inpage error

i suggest just to reinstall teh operation system and do not mind about else..cause it is not worth the effort ..if it is a software issue ..reinstalling it will solve the problem ..If you worry about the data on it ..just hook the hard disk to another computer (as secondary drive ) and copy all important data ..
After that just reinstall it using the recovery partition or disk or a boot-able disk with the OS .
If you do not have important info stored in C drive ..just reinstall without save ..cause the information in other partition will not be erase..just the C drive will be formatted ..

My computer says I'm missing esapp.dll & ltdis10n.dll. How do I fix that?

This may be due some or all of the following reason: Corrupt file-system, corrupt registry entry, improper/incomplete device driver installation or software installation or may be due to a virus infection.
Make sure you have a backup of important files/photos/documents in your system.
Try repairing you file-system using check disk utility that comes with windows. Repair your registry using a registry tool. Update the device driver or the application. esapp.dll & ltdis10n.dll belongs to Kodak Easy Share application. First completely remove the application and try reinstalling it. Have a full system virus scan with latest virus definition update.
Update your windows system with current patches and fixes using Windows Update utility.
All the best

I want to transfer my pictures to a different program. I have a load of other pictures in a differnt picture file and have not been able to transfer my picutes from the ''Kodak easy share'' program to that...

Your pictures will be stored most likely in this location on your pc:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Pictures\Kodak Pictures.
Instead of going to the program to open your pics go to where they are stored as above then copy and paste them wherever you want. I have a folder called my pictures where Ive put mine. You can rightclick on any photo and select "open with" and your favourite program will show on a dropdown list.
Here is a link which may work for you?
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Pictures\Kodak Pictures
I accessed mine by firstly coing to My Computer and then the C drive and then follow above location.

Want to recover deleted photo files on my computer

Have you saved anything new on this computer drive since then?
After deleting something off from a computer drive, the deleted files are not erased completely. But, they could be also overwritten by any new file on the same drive and gone forever. Therefore, I hope you've not overwritten them all yet!
As to data recovery software, in fact, there are many data recovery freeware online that could work much more efficiently than some paid ones. Why not to have a try?
Try to restore these deleted photos back from your computer with the help of a data recovery freeware:

In the future, I hope you could back up everything important all the time.

I have had all the pictures on my camera loaded on to a CD. Now I need to pick just the pictures I want from all of those into a file that I can have my family and friends view. I don't know how to do...

open the file on the cd with the pictures you wish to copy then hold the CTRL control key and click on every photo you wish to copy. This should highlight every picture you want. let go off the CTRL key when you've selected them on one of the highlighted pictures right click on your mouse and select copy from the list. then navigate to the file you want to copy the pictures to and in the open file right click on the mouse and select paste. you should now see all the pictures youve selected copied to the file you wanted them in

Go to control settings on you PC then to add and remove Software. find in the list Kodak easyshare and remove it.
reboot your PC and insert the Kodak easyshare CD in the pc and reinstall.
Your Ini file is corrupt trying to fix an Ini file without advanced knowledge can do more damage and waste of time than just rinstalling it.

Copying a drive image to move your installed software to an other computer

Copying the entire disk image is easy using a program something like Norton's Ghost. If the hard drive is failing, it's pertinent to do this QUICKLY.
