In Outlook, with one message within your "Inbox" already selected..
press & hold the Ctrl key, then tap(press & release) the "A" key, this will select all the messages. Now release the Ctrl key. Press & hold the Shift key & tap the Delete key. A message confirming the permanent deletion will pop up.. Click ok & its gone (for now)

PC Crash and how to avoid it!

For any computers owner, a PC crash is a nightmare come true. However, with the amount of time we spend on our computers each day, we're bound to be inundated with harmful files or identity-stealing attempts. For people who own their own PC, there are plenty of basic steps to take in order to avoid a dreaded PC crash.

Consider putting a lock on your PC. Not literally. Make up a user ID that is unique to you as an administrator and password that can't be figured out easily. If you leave your computer on unattended, make sure you leave it in "log-in" mode, so any attempted usage will require a password.

Install internet security software or an anti-virus software product. These types of programs run regular computer check-ups and update automatically to ward off new attacks. Schedule virus scans at least once a week to check for bugs in far off corners of your computer.

Pay attention to the news. If a worldwide virus outbreak is imminent, give your PC a rest for a few days if possible, or try to limit your Internet usage.

First and most important of all, you have to get a reliable good registry cleaning software which will help you in maintaining your computer by removing unwanted junk files messed up in your registry that causes errors and other problems in your system. This is very important because most of the problems mentioned above are the results of unhealthy registry. Hence, to keep it in top condition, get a premium registry-cleaner. This has been well proven to help prevent PC from freezing or crashing among many users.

Avoid downloading files, programs, videos, MP3, and software from unreliable sources. One of the most common methods to get your computer infected by spyware is to download free software which is usually bundled with spyware. These malicious programs are responsible for almost 90% of all computer crashes globally. Therefore, avoid them as much as possible by being extra cautious of files downloaded from the internet. Furthermore, avoid visiting unreliable sites such as adult sites which are generally flooded with a lot of spyware the moment you browsed through their web-sites. Hence, try to limit your internet surfing on credible sites.

Still there are many ways for you to prevent PC from freezing or crashing, but the aforementioned tips will surely help you avoid the things that generally causes such computer problems; as well as help keep your system in its optimum health and performance.

Many people in contemporary times are heavily dependent on their computers to function. They use their computers for almost any task imaginable from making business presentations to watching movies. There are literally thousands of things that you can do with your computer. You can use it to gather research materials for a school paper, read the news, communicate with friends and loved ones from all over the world and you can even use it to shop for clothes or shoes online. In fact, most people do not realize how dependent they are or their computers until things go wrong. Imagine this scenario. You are late for school and you still have to print your paper that is due today. As you boot up your computer, an error message pops up and your computer suddenly crashes. A PC crash is a very common and people around the world experience it from time to time. In many cases however, a PC crash can happen at the most inconvenient times. This can happen when you need to finish a financial report, when you need to pay your bills online or when you need to order groceries. This is one of the reasons why you should do what you can to prevent a PC crash from happening in the first place.

This is certainly true when preventing a PC crash from happening. This can be a very annoying an inconvenient occurrence. A PC crash can wreck schedules, delay the submission of important documents and hamper your daily life.A PC crash can be caused by a number of things. A crash can be caused by computer registry errors, overheated hardware components and hard disk errors. Computer registry errors commonly accumulate over time. Registry entries are modified every time you install or uninstall programs. As time goes by, your registry will develop many errors that will eventually cause a PC crash. The same is true for hard drive errors. Every time you save, delete or modify files on your computer, errors and corrupted files accumulate on your hard drive. Eventually, this can also cause your computer to crash. Over heated hardware, on the other hand, is caused by bad ventilation and extreme temperatures. This can easily be remedied by placing your computer in a cool and well-ventilated area.

Crashes are caused by various factors but one of the most popular reasons are due to excessive downloading and installation of different applications, features or what not. These may cause the regular computer to work significantly slower than its potential speed and can irritate most users. With the increase in popularity of different software applications in the market, more of the kids these days buy online games and other software available online. Everything is online and the downloading process is so easy that virtually anyone can update and install any time of the day. The problem however comes in when your computer is over loaded with all these installations you feed into it daily.

  1. Defragment your hard drive at least once every 2 months. While some people only do this every year, there are actually many people who have never defragment their drives because they're unfamiliar with the process and its importance. Defragmenting your hard drive will help keep it healthy and it's something you can easily do yourself.
  2. Get a good anti-virus program and update it at least once a week. Some people actually update it every day on start-up. Most of the programs allow you to schedule the updates and the virus scan to run on a schedule that you choose.
  3. Make sure all important updates for your computer are done as needed. They are there for a reason - to keep your computer healthy and current with all new information and data. Also, make sure to run an adware/spyware tool at least once a week as well. You can find many free ones online that you can download. Finally, keep your firewall and pop-up blocker turned on to prevent intrusion into your computer.
  4. Delete all of your temporary internet files. Make sure the offline files are deleted as well. You can easily do this while on the Internet by going to "tools" on the top Internet Explorer and then selecting "internet options". Remove cookies on a regular basis as well as any unused files that are on your computer. By keeping your computer free from unnecessary "junk", you're also helping to keep your hard drive healthier.
  5. Provide regular maintenance on your email. By this I mean delete your spam emails and bulk immediately after receiving them. Any unknown emails should also be deleted. Only open email attachments that you know are from reliable sources. Make sure you have good spam and virus protection on your email.
  6. Back-up your computer on a regular basis - at least once a week, if not more. Put your data on a removable disk or tape. (Or better yet, back it up online) If your computer does crash, you won't be sorry you were so diligent about back-ups.
  7. Beware of what you download from the internet. Only download programs that are from secure sites that you know you can trust.
  8. Pay attention to what your computer may be telling you. If it's making an unusual noise, have it checked out. It could be the CPU fan, which is needed to keep the processor cool. If it malfunctions, it can cause all kinds of expensive damage.
  9. Avoid dust and smoke around your computer. Accumulation of dust, smoke, pet hair, etc. can also cause damage to the insider components of your PC.
  10. Avoid having too many programs start-up when your computer turns on. Only have what you need open.

How can I recover an deleted email

Check to see whether the deleted email is still recoverable on your email system.

Most email services save deleted emails in a trash folder.

If you do not find your email in the trash folder, you can try a simple search of your computer's system.

If you have no luck finding the file on your computer's system, you can try a software file recovery program.

Look for a software recovery program that supports the email service you use.

For example, Data Recovery Wizard specializes in recovery of Microsoft Outlook files.

The most popular free software for recovering lost files is ParetoLogic Data Recovery, which helps to recover files lost in Windows, hard drives, SD cards, iPods and more.the pareto logic will cost you $49.97 free to try

need more information. What happened? did it crash your computer? Was it a paid version or downloaded from internet? It may have had a virus. Was it a trusted source? You need to tell more about the problem than it was deleted by computer repair. Computer repair won't delete anything unless you tell it too.

check the event viewer by going to start>right click my computer>manage ... click on the left pane whre it says even viewer and click on applications.. look for a red ballon with a white x at the time when your application crashed and double click on it (there may be a few of those if it has crashed before.. and not all of them may be about the the application you're troubleshooting.. so read a little bit on the error and see if it's related with your problem and post the information you see there. or google the error code.
