Soundcard Driver i cant find it

it might be as simple as changing your line in device.
in windows xp go to
Start -> programs -> sounds and audio -> voice
and try and change your recording device to an Logitech device.

Hi there, in order for you to chcek if there is sound car installed in your system. Click on control panel then go to system then click device manager then search for sound devices. if theres none and you see unknown device with exclamation point on it (!) that could be your soundcard. all you need to do there is to install the soundcard driver. you can download the driver at www.lenovo.com if its a thinkpad PC. thanks!

if you dont have the soundcard installation cd then you must find out which soundcard you have (hardware). 
if you dont know which is it and  cant look up the model of your pc on the internet there is an app that lists all hardware.

then you must download the corresponding driver from the internet.

I had a similar problem, until I turned off my WiFi. I din't want to believe it would be the problem but it sure was, sucks that I cant be online while i'm trying to record something.

first, you go in the BIOS setup..check if the soundcard is disable or not...if disable try to enable and boot to the windows..if its already enable but still not working, check the sound card driver at www.toshiba.com and download driver for sound of your laptop....

Several suggestions:

Make sure the onboard sound is enabled in the BIOS settings.

Be sure the jumper plugs between pins 5 & 6 and 9 & 10 on the F_AUD connector on the board are installed (unless they have been removed to plug in a cable to audio connectors on the case). Without these the sound won't go to the output jack on the board.

Reinstall sound drivers.

Download and install the sound driver to make sure you have the latest version. Then verify your sound settings in Windows to be sure you don't have anything muted.

Be sure your speakers are hooked up correctly (plugged in to the correct jack, proper power, etc.).

If nothing gets the sound working you may have a problem on the motherboard. Get a sound card and install it in one of the PCI slots to replace the onboard sound. These often give better sound quality than the onboard audio anyway.

ya thats bad onbord u will wann disable onbord sound card in bios then go store buy x fi pci card sound blaster makes that be more copatible with no ererros and sound way nice rthen any onbord sound can do thx nick

1st off u cant use onbord video in world craft over heat kill your onbord card why it crashes not made for big games at all nivida nforse drivers its onbord u nee dto buy a real video card depending on your slot agp or pci express i can recomend a nice card for u cheap from new egg ok what model pc u have
