We ran into the same problem today with our toaster. There was never a problem before I cleaned it--not only by sliding out the crumb drawer, but by turning it upside down to dislodge every last crumb. After that, It would not stay down when pushed down--and none of the buttons were functional.
My husband took the cover off and found that a magnet is what keeps the lever down when the toaster's on, and allows it to go back up when the toasting is done. It's an electro magnet that works only when the toaster is on. It seems that when I turned the unit upside down and rightside up again, crumbs landed on the magnet's contact plates (which are about 1/4" x 1/2") and would not allow the magnet to engage. Because the magnet wouldn't engage, the lever would not stay down, and the toaster shut off. Brush off the magnets, replace the cover and toast away!

Hey Brian ,
ICP - Integrated control panel
RCC - Remote Climate Control Module Integrated Control Panel-Electronic Automatic Temperature Control
The Taurus, Sable vehicles group together the following systems into a single integrated control panel:
AM/FM stereo radio
rear window defroster switch
electronic automatic temperature control (EATC)
full-logic cassette tape player
compact disc player control (optional)
The remote climate control module is mounted to the A/C evaporator housing behind the integrated control panel.
The integrated control panel is connected to the remote climate control module with a dedicated two-wire communication link.
The integrated control panel EATC features:
a vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) for displaying set temperature, ambient temperature, function and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
electro-luminescent backlighting for all buttons and graphics.
function override buttons.
temperature control and blower speed rocker switches.
You have a couple of options here. Sounds like your controller may be on the fritz, so if you have the money, I would suggest purchasing a new controller.
Otherwise, in the game options, you can re-map any function to another button on your controller. I would recommend remapping the sprint button to some other button that you don't use for that game.
There is an option in the menu to put camera on continuous auto focus. You must have the camera on manual setting to have this option available, but once selected, it should stay on in auto setting. It will wear the battery faster, but it should solve the issue you are having. Hope this helps!!!
If you look at the function buttons for example f1- f12. there should be symbols in a light color. at the same time there will b a function key on your keyboard usually has the letters (fn) you hold this button down while pressing those other function buttons they all do something different so look for one that looks like a pics of the sun.
I had the same problem which was getting worse. Eventually I took the oven apart by removing the feet, shell and front. Then I removed the circuit board on the front panel which has all the switches on it. We never use the "Defrost" function, so using a soldering iron, I swapped the "Toast" switch with the "Defrost" switch. The Toast function now works normally. I plan to get some spare switches for the next time one of these goes wrong. While I had one of them out I checked it out and a Panasonic P/N EVQ-PAE05R available from Digi-Key P/N P12192S-ND looks like it will do the trick.
