You need to buy a cable output to television antenna input adaptor. One end will allow you to connect the cable box output to a cable input. The other end will hook up to you television just like a antenna, on the two screw hook -up. The usually can be purchased at any electronics store, like Fry's, Best buy,Radio Shack. Or you can buy them online. Use google to search cable output to television input adaptor's. Hope this helps you with your problem.

If the tv has 2 screws on it you need a 75 ohm adaptor , wich you can get it at radio shack. once you get that,  it is advised to use an old vcr like a cable box to get all your channels. if the tv requires the adaptor, then it would only get a few channels with out the vcr.

Trouble setting up sony soundbar surround sound, is tv arc compatable?

Arc ready is when there is electricity plugged into the TV,There is only one HDMI cable and that is the one you have. Cause all new TV's come with these cables. If you are using Av cables for the sound it will not work ,you must only use HDMI cable's.Cause some or most new TV's with HDMI dont like to use Av cables with HDMI,so if you havw something else that uses Av cables plug it out and sound will work.

How can I connect my laptop to my LCD TV through HDMI cable (brand:LG) (model:LF15 series) HD ready?

You'll need to make sure that your laptop & LCD TV have an HDMI port. If they both do, simply connect an HDMI cable from your laptop to your LCD TV and make sure the input on the LCD TV is set to receive A/V from the HDMI port.

How do you set up the Soya TV. Is it cable ready?

Hi,

Yes, your TV is cable ready. To set up, you will need to use the original remote and complete the following steps.

1. Connect your cable box to your TV using either antenna (RF) cable or component A/V
2. Press the "MENU" button on your remote
3. Select "CHANNELS" using the up/down arrow buttons on your remote and press "OK"
4. Select "SCAN CHANNEL" and press"OK".
5. Select "CABLE" as the source and press "OK" to tune

The TV should now automatically tune the cable stations and exit the menu. If you need to exit the menu and/or start again just press "MENU" on the remote again.

If you have no picture, press the "INPUT" button on your remote repeatedly until the input is on "TUNER" if you are using an RF cable or "COMPONENT" if you are using component A/V cable.

Your TV should now be setup for watching cable.

Please post back if you need further assistance.

Regards,
BElectric

An "HD ready" TV needs a SOURCE. You will need to get cable, satellite, or a converter box AND antenna.

Hope this helps!

LC-26DA5U 26 in. HDTV-Ready LCD Television: i connect a hdmi cable 2 my hd cable box - the pic...

The cable box needs to be set to send different signals when using hd tv and standard tv. Usually a good setting would be 720p in hd and 480p in standard. The tv is working fine it is the cable box sending the signal. If you have another hdmi source such as a dvd player you may hook that up to show the tv is working just fine.

HD ready?

It was not a problem. It is just a question. Is it HD ready or not without a converter box or cable?
I will go to a store and ask a tech if you can not answer.
thanks

Maxent lcd

Your TV is an "HD-Ready" television. What this means is that your TV is ready to accept HD input from an outside source, but doesn't have the ability to produce the content itself. It is a monitor and does not have a digital tuner. Without a digital tuner (or for cable a QAM tuner) you will not receive OTA broadcast HD.

You need to purchase a High Definition capable set-top converter box. The converter box will have HD component out and may have HDMI out, either will feed your HD Ready TV.
