Question about Televison & Video

Open Question

WE UNPLUGGED OUR TOSHIBA MV19H01 TO HOOK UP ANOTHER TV, WE LATER RECONNECTED THE TOSHIBA BY TURNING THE TELEVISION ON ITS SIDE OR COULD HAVE BEEN FACE TO SEE THE CONNECTION SITES BETTER AND NOW THE COLOR IS CONSIDERABLY OFF AND THE COLORS ARE EXAGERRATED, PARTICULARLY THE BLUES AND GREENS. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Macrovision causes a blue band at the bottom. Its a copyguard Are you using the RCA cables from the unit to the tv or the coax? are you trying to feed the dvd out into the vcr input? Copyguard does some strange things, its a shame they have to put in all this stuff that can cause other problems to prevent people from stealing.

SOURCE: Color of people's faces in movies played via DVD is now blue since connected to LCD TV

The reason the picture is blue on the DVD is because you have poor video cables running the feed, probably RCA yellow cable im guessing. Get some nice component cables for the DVD feed and it will fix you right up.

I would check the fuse on the main board. Check the Capacitors on the Power Supply board. Seeing that you unplugged it and replugged it in you might have bad caps that were weak to begin with. Please learn how to safely work on a TV before attempting . Even when a tv is unplugged it has enough power to kill you. Discharge all Capacitors first. make sure its unplugged of course.
