nearly full up. Theres a volume measure that goes to 30 max. I think i had it at 28. If the circuit tripped how can i fix it?

  • abathingape Nov 29, 2008

Ok i should probably go into more depth. Me turning it up to 28 then it going off happened about a month ago. I thought it was broken and so left it until now when i just tried it. It turned on but only for a few seconds for it to go off again.

    They're working fine again
cheers for the help! I think the most important thing was knowing what caused it so it doesnt happen again. Cheers

How loud?  There's a protection circuit that protects the system.  If you played them too loud for the system, the circuit tripped.

I don't think you can.  If you're pushing it that hard, it's going to go into protection mode every time.  You can solve it by getting a bigger amp,  but that's all I know to do.
Good luck.  Rocker.

I misunderstood your second question.  You can get your speakers back on by turning off the amp and letting it cool down for a little while.  When you turn it back on the speakers should work.  If they don't, then there's a bigger problem that I won't be able to help you with.  Sorry.

Here is the manual for the unit.

Page 11 says you should just let it cool down.  When you turned it back on, did you turn it on to high volume?  If you're using it at more moderate volumes, does it still fail?  If so, I'm not sure what to tell you, other than to contact iLuv and see if they can help.

    Hope it works out!

My laptop is suddenly not recognising my iluv usb connected speakers. Is there a fix?

To start, try connecting the speakers to a USB port on a second computer. That will help you find out if the problem is with the speakers or the computer.

If the speakers work on the 2nd computer, try connecting a different device to the same USB port on the computer. Also try a different USB port on the same computer.

Why my nabi2 pear with my iluv speaker but can't hear it ?

Pairing and connecting are different steps in the process of connecting two Bluetooth devices. As long as your headphones are not CONNECTED (not just PAIRED) with your tablet, you are not going to hear anything that you play on the tablet (music, video, etc.).

Why my nabi2 is pear with my iluv speaker but can't hear it ?

Probably because they are PAIRED, but not CONNECTED. Pairing and connecting are two different steps in the process of making two Bluetooth devices to communicate with each other. Read the manual on how to connect the two.

The problem is more than likely in the audio output chips in the unit, check to make sure the speaker wires are not shorting.

I lost the manual, and I can't work out how to set the time or alarms.

Follow the link below to a website that has the manual. It will ask you to submit to some optional services, but I know you can just reject it and the manual will come right up.
