Hi......I'm sure the videos aren't being sent because a small screen pops up with "Pop3" error and shows a

server address that I use to have when I lived in another state. I am not very PC literate.......

    Hi Rachel -

Are the video's in separate emails or all together? How do you know you are not sending? (IE - are they stuck in your outbox, or just not being received by the recipient? Or are you unable to upload them?). What email client software and version are you using? Doug

How big are the files? A lot of email servers will limit the size of files sent.

I'm suspecting your internet service provider can't handle the large files (maybe the connection is too slow, or your email account has a file size limitation). Try to create a SMALL video file with your camera...literally no more than 1 or 2 seconds, so that it will have SMALL size. If possible, use a smaller/lower resolution video setting to help keep the file size down. Then upload the small file to your email. Check the file size to see the size as compared to the other videos, and your regular photos. If you are able to send it, and the size is similar to your photos, then it means that the other videos are just too big. (how big are those original video files you were having touble with?).

Transfer vidoes to a computer using a USB connection

Consider NOT using the USB connection.
The best way to download videos (and pictures) from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy videos and pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files.

Can't play the videos I've recorded...

The panasonic vidoe are in quicktime - you will need to either download quicktime software to run the vidoe clips or you can convert the file format from quicktime into windows media player format. The codecs you are downloading may convert your files but I am not familiar with GO.

I suggest you download quicktime for now, so you can at least play your vidoes. be sure to check your operating system for the download.

At a later date, you may or may not want to edit them in which case you can download a conversion tool or do so online.
