Question about Dishwashers
What exactly do you need to know about how your dishwasher is to be grounded? The national electrical code treats has dishwashers wired like any other appliance in that a receptacle ( like on your wall) is placed in the general area of the dishwasher and a power cord is attached to teh dishwasher at junction box internal to that dishwasher.. the cord is typically plugged into a 3-prong outlet which has a ground terminal. Otherwise... that is all that is required... If you are hard-wiring it ( as was done years ago) then a power feed is brought into a junction box internal to teh dishwasher and you would wire the hot , neutral and ground there).. Please restate your question if this information didn't answer you correctly..
