I have the Echo backpack blower, which was purchased a couple of years ago. It has worked great until recently. It was running fine, I stopped it to do something and it would not start back up. It will not turn over. I replaced the spark plug and also tried what was suggested here "remove the plug, put it back back in the connector and just let it hang down while you try to start it. you should see a bright blue spark, if you dont try changing the spark plug." When I tried this, I was unable to see a spark. Any suggestions?

If a small engine wont start its usually one of two problems, its not getting gas, or its not getting spark. easy way to find out if its getting a spark is to remove the plug, put it back back in the connector and just let it hang down while you try to start it. you should see a bright blue spark, if you dont try changing the spark plug. if its getting a spark come back on this site and i'll help you trouble shoot it.

WONT START REPLACE ENGINE CARBRATOR ADPT DO TO BOLT BROKEN OFF STILL WONT START

Check spark plug. remove the spark plug, clean it and test it. If it still doesn't start, take the spark plug out, and connect it to spark plug wire and try to crank the blower, and see if it makes a spark, if not you may need to replace the spark plug.

My gas blower wont start,,tried new gas ,,tried

This is a common problem with blowers. trimmers, chain saws etc. I believe your carburetor needs to be rebuilt. The carb has very thin rubber diaphragms that meter in fuel to combustion chamber. If the diaphragms get hard (from sitting long periods with fuel in carb or from extreme heat) they won't flex enough to allow enough fuel in, If you need parts or more assistance email desertairrepair@aol.com.

You might want to make sure that you have enough 'sparks' at the plug tips. And also make sure your
magneto is clean, and dry.

32 cc blower not starting

your problem is inside the carburator.there is a small screen inside that needs to be cleaned out.take the single screw from one side of carb.there is a small screen in side.carefully take an air hose and blow it out.do not blow to hard or the screen will blow out.once it's clean the unit will start right up.hope this helped, let me know.................................

Homelite backpacker blower # uto08083 not running

fist thing is run both the carb screws all the way in then back them off 1 1/4 turn this will be your starting point then start the blower to fine tune the carb if it starts then your carb was off giving it to much or to less fuel
