No sounds (by 3 users)
I have an xda atom which is almost 8 months old. I have not had too many problems until recently, the phone makes no sounds at all now, it's like the external speaker has been shut off but it has not. I have tried resetting it several times, checking the settings, and nothing. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please let me know?

i m hav d same prob .when i m opening d win media player i cant hear any sound but when i m operarin radio and den d media player its workin i dont know any thing about dis meyhap

I have the same problem,
But here the solution,
This is because the atoom thinks that we have inserted the speakers in it,
i have tried to manually trigger some wires in it and found that it works
to check just see if the radio works
if the radio works means that the device sees as the external speakers (ear phone) are connected just try to insert and remove the pin few times and
you will disable the radio,
and lo tha phone sstart working
