Question about Sharp BDHP20U Blu-Ray Player
I purchased a new blu-ray video...wouldn't play so I returned it...still didn't play....returned it a third time and this time I was told that I need to update my blu-ray player. Is that what is required as the newer blu-ray movies can't be read on a SHARP that ia about a year old?
I bought a Sharp BD-HP20S and got Stargate Continuum to play on it, only problem was it wouldn't.
Had bad pixilation, jumping picture and stuttering sound.
Went onto Sharp's website and followed the instructions for downloading and burning a firmware update cd (or usb stick).
Made an update cd, put it in and within 5 minutes the update was over.
Prefect picture and sound.
Really simple and easy to do.
If you don't want to make a cd yourself Sharp will send one out to you if you contact them.
