Question about Televison & Video
I have a 1996 Magnavox model # 27TS52 C103, Chassis # 27X602-00BB that has intermittent interference with thin streaky horizontal lines, with quick on and off white flashes, just on the AUX channel only! Problem does not occur on all other channels 2-99, which have excellent picture and sound. Problem still occurs with no inputs hooked up to the audio/video jack panel. All on screen menu options work fine. There is a removable A/V jack panel board on chassis and wonder if this could be defective.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The only way your going to change the video mode is with the original remote. If you need another remote go to http://remotes.com or call 1800 remotes Theres a button on the upper left hand side of the remote called video mode. A universal most of the time will not work this function. You could ask around to your friends and buddies or relitives if anyone has a working Sanyo remote or go to a local retailer that sells Sanyo and see if he would let you borrow one for a little while so you can switch out of the video mode. Good Luck

Take out the channel up button and use a small, long object (like a pencil or pen) and repeatly press the button under until AUX comes up.

try putting the tv on channel 00, that is where this tv apparently shows the input from at least one on the video channels.
