My ibm netvista 6270 reboot evry time !! my mothercard is ms 6188 pIII 64 Mo

There could be several things wrong but with the information provided, I am going to say that you have a virus and/or spyware. Run a complete scan on system with both antivirus and spyware remover. Rid of all spyware. If you have Limewire, delete it and reboot. This should stop the computer from rebooting.

I have a toshiba satellite a-210 laptop only 8 months but it has become very slow to respond to mouse clicks. I am afraid I have a virus

You probably have spyware, especially if you surf the net a lot.

Download Ad-Aware from http://lavasoft.com/

also try spyware doctor: http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/?ref=afl_nenextech

Ad-Aware is a great program for scanning and removing spyware and is free. Spyware Doctor removes more spyware, but cost money for the full version. The free version will scan, but won't remove much without you paying for it. It is a very good program though, and the free program will tell you if you have infections.

After having update done I still have(WARNING!sPYWARE iNFECTION) ON THE TOOLBAR AND STILL POPS UP EVERY TWO OR THREE MINS.

Just for the sake of my knowledge, what toolbar are you talking about and did it mention the exact or generic name of the so-called infection. The reason I ask this is because some toolbars will have you believe that you have a spyware infection in order to get you to buy their suggested spyware cleaner i.e. false and misleading technique to sell a product that usually does nothing except lead to more such indications. However if you want a very good free cleaner, give SpywareBlaster 4.0 and Spybot Search and Destroy 1.52 a try. Both are free and both work exceptionally well in concert, the first as a preventative vaccine type of software, and the second as a very good trojan and spyware scanner. I use both of them along with my Avast 4.8 software that now also includes a spyware scanner. Between the three of them I would hazard a guess that the only way you would have a real infection is if you went purposely disregarded all warnings. www.safer-networking.com and www.avast.com for the last two, www.javacoolsoftware.com for Spywareblaster

My computer is infected with spyware and won't turn on

How do you know that your computer is infected with spyware if it won"t turn on?
The problem that you post can be anything starting from electrical problems to viruses or even a fried cockroach inside the computer case, ask a computer technician to check it out.

Computer Freezes when connected to internet.

The first step is to verify that you are not infected with a spyware or virus infection. The fact that you are only having freezing problems when you are connected to the internet is a sign that you may have some kind of infection.

The Geek Squad website has links to free online virus and spyware scanners that can tell you if you're infected.

If those scans come up as clean could you please post a Hijackthis log file so we can look at what processes you have running?

Ads keep popping up when am online and offline, I have warning tabs saying that I have been infected with spyware. I am on verizon fios network and have virus scan and spyware removal tools that I used,...

Hello there.

Virus and spyware problems are very popular unfortunately, most tools are unable to find and repair all problems, so its best to try alternative methods to remove the most stubbern infections.

I suggest using an online scanner, something like http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/security_tools/housecall . Open this address and click "Launch Housecall free scan". This will download the files needed through your web browser and run a scan without actually installing the antivirus package in windows. It wont interfere with existing antivirus / antispyware software.

If you cannot remove all infections, then please show us a screenshot or a list of the infections from the scan end page and we will assist.

Hope this helps.
