Question about Olympus WS-110 Digital Voice Recorder
I recently moved all .wma files from my WS-110 dig voice recorder to my mac. however, when i try to record anything, i get "memory full" error. what's strange is the recorder also shows as having no files.
was i not supposed to actually move the .wma files from the recorder, and instead erase them from the recorder itself?
Well, i resolved this myself by going to the sub-menu, and formatting
the recorder to its original state. thankfully, i backed up the files
on my computer first, so i didn't lose any data, although i did have to
go in and re-set all my preferences on the recorder.
lesson: don't MOVE files from recorder to computer. copy them instead, and do the actual erasing from the physical recorder itself.
i don't know if this was the most elegant solution, but at least it did get my recorder up and running again. i'd love to hear if there is a better resolution out there.
