Look for electrical diagram inside the temp control area of the refrig. Open refrig door, take out two screws going up through the temp control area and look for a waxy paper folded up inside. That's the best you will find. There is not a separate schematic for the mother board, as it is not considered a repairable part. (replacement only)

GE GSL22JFTABA Side by Side water dispenser problem

Check that the solenoid valve is working. If not, check that it's getting voltage when activated. If no voltage, control or switch is bad. If voltage OK, valve is bad. If none of the above, the water line is frozen.

The Water Dispenser suddenly stopped working, Ice will dispense ,however no water. GE model GSL25JFTAB5

Hi,
It tends to be the problem of the valve. Connection is not proper it is not allowing water to ice maker. The valve can be checked with a volt/ohm meter if you.

You can ohm the solenoid of the valve and see if the circuit is open. You can also use the meter to check voltage to the water valve when the ice maker cycle starts. No voltage if the ice makes cycles or if the ice maker never cycles would indicate a problem with the ice maker. It tends to be an open solenoid circuit in valve.

Hope this helps.

My ice maker is working fine. My ice dispenser is working fine, There is no water from the water dispenser. When I push the button, I hear a click but no water.

I had this same issue with my GE refrigerator and figured out it is a common problem with these units. The water line freezes up near the dispenser panel. Fortunately, GE has an inexpensive solution, a water line heater, that fixes the problem with little work. Check out my blog post on my ge refrigerator water dispenser not working for complete details.

The water and ice dispenser are not working. When I try to use the water dispenser it doesn't sound like anything is working (no sounds) as opposed to the ice dispenser to which I can hear the motor...

At the rear of the refrigerator is a water solenoid valve, you need to check for voltage at the solenoid valve while someone calls for water. If voltage is present, you need to replace the solenoid valve
