When you hace the usb cable connected go to "My Computer or Computer" and you will see it listed as a drive. Click on it and open the folder that has the songs and delete the ones you don't want. DO NOT Format(erase) the entire drive or you will erase the operating system of the Sansa. Thanks for using FixYa
Connect the Sansa to your computer using the supplied cable. Open up an explorer window. You'll see your Sansa either as a removable hard drive or as a Sansa, depending on the USB mode. Either way, navigate into it, then into the MUSIC folder. You can delete entire albums from here, or navigate into the albums and delete individual tracks.
Deleting Songs Using Windows Media Player Use Windows Media Player to view the songs that are stored on your mp3 player - best to view them in the "Sync" tab. Find the song that you want to delete, right-click the song, and select Delete (or left-click and press Delete on your keyboard). Voila! -Tha Mp3 Doctor

3)When library shows, click 'Sync' if it is not already there.
4)Just simply click and drag the songs you want from the computer library to the list pane on the side.

2)Wait for the icon under Library in WIndows Media Player
3)Go to Songs under Sansa e250
4)Right click desired songs and choose Delete. You only want to delete from Sansa e250-nothing else
