Can i connect altec lansing expressionist classic speakers to a TV? if so, how? THX!

If your TV has a variable audio output, yes.

Plug them in directly to a compatible 3.5 mm output or adapt an RCA audio output to 3.5mm with a connector available at any electronics store like radio Shack.

In your TV audio menu select "variable" for the audio out. Otherwise they'll always be at maximum volume.

MY Altec lansing im620 just quit. I get no power at all. What could be the problem. George

Did you experience a storm recently...you may have received an electrical power surge...you can open the unit to see if the on board fuse is blown....just follow the power input cord to where it connects to the power supply...look for a small glass fuse...pop it out and see that the fine wire inside goes from one side to the other....the best way to check it though is to test it with an ohmmeter...if the fuse is good then there may be a problem in the power supply circuit that may need to be troubleshooted by a service tech

What would cause my altec lansing 9444b amp to blow the fuse as soon as it is turned on

You may have a short in your wiring, re-trace all of the speaker wires leaving your receiver and going to each of your speakers and be sure the hot and cold wires are not touching anywhere.
Also be sure your volume is not absolutely cranked up.
