After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then if
you get in troubles, follow
the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:
Unplug printer USB.
Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
Follow driver installation wizard.
Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Mostly it's a problem with the printhead in those case. Try 4-5 printhead cleaning via the main menu of your printer. Press Menu. Choose 'Clean Printhead', press OK and chose the 'Intensive Cleaning' and press then OK again. After doing this 4-5 times make a test print. When the problem persists, you can order a new PH from Kodak directly.
Simply connect your removable hard drive to a usb port of the computer with internet connection available, then open your browser and type www.hp.com.......>> go to software and drivers >>
put y our printer model >> Select your OS >> and download the drivers
Select SAVE AS.......and choose location on Your Removable Hard Drive........OK
Then unplug your removable Hard drive and conect to the laptop USB port..... Then go to Start >> Control Panel >> Printer...........ADD A printer
Follow the instruction and Select ......Specify Location........Browse.......... And choose your removable Hard drive to finish install the drivers for your printer
disconnect the printer and re-install the driver. If you plug the printer in and then try to install the printer, Vista will install it's own driver.
The download manager will tell you when it's ok to plug in the printer.
You will get messages that say the software is not window approved but click to install anyway. Most new hardware will give you this instruction on a single sheet, added to the package as an after thought.
