Question about Apple iPod nano

Ipod 4g non responsive

My ipod recently became slightly damp from sweat while I was jogging.  It was inside a leather case.  Now the screen will come up when plugged into itunes and only when I lock and unlock the device.  When on the device does not respond to attempts to play music, photos etc., etc.'  Out of the blue about a week ago it suddenly responded and allowed me to play music but when shut-off came back up with the same problem.  (The jogging episode was about three weeks ago.)  Have I fried the innards?  Any suggestions on how to resuscitate my old buddy?
Thanks for any suggestions....
Eric

Its unlikley that it was caused by sweat particularly if it was in a case. You may want to check that it isn't a firmware issue by restting it (hold down menu and center buttons - WARNING: wipes memory). If that isn't helping send it in.

What kinds of briefcases are there?

Briefcases can be of three kinds:

Portfolio: a handle-less case to be carried in the hand or under the arm.

Folio case: a portfolio with a retractable handle.

Attache' case: "a box-style case made of leather (occasionally aluminium), scrunched over a hinged frame that opens into two compartments. It was traditionally carried by an attache', a diplomatic officer attached to an embassy or consulate officially assigned to serve in a particular capacity. In recent years, leather pouches (usually slightly larger the size of standard paper, 8.5 x 11) with a zipper sealed compartment has been referred to as attache''s or poche document holders." Why is my ipod 4g screen blank

is it an ipod nano ?

Remove the two screws on the panel on top of the Nano and remove the top panel.

Use a case opener tool to pop the plastic screen cover off the unit.

Slide the screen up to expose the orange ribbon cable on the bottom of the screen that connects to the motherboard.

Unplug the orange ribbon cable from its port and slide the screen out of the Nano.

Fit a new screen in the Nano and plug the ribbon cable into the port.

Replace the screen cover and top panel of the Nano.

hope this helps

How can I maintain a leather sofa bed?

Leather stand up to tear and wear very well. In order to properly maintain your bed, you'll need to remove the dust with a slightly damp cloth. Moreover, you should keep the bed at least 30 cm away from direct heat source to fervent it from drying out.

Need to reset my ipod touch to factory settings

1. Plug your iPod 4G into your computer with its dock connector USB cable.
2. Install the most recent version of iTunes and open iTunes. Wait a moment for your iPod to appear in the side bar.
3. Click on your iPod in the side bar and select "Restore." A pop-up window will ask if you're sure you want to clear your iPod and restore to factory settings. Click "Continue" and enter your password, if prompted.
4. Leave the iPod untouched and on a flat surface while it restores to original settings. It's important that you don't try to disconnect or use the iPod while it's restoring. You'll see a progress bar either on the iPod or your computer that indicates how far along the process is.
5. Select your new syncing settings (automatic sync or manual) when prompted after the restore is complete.

How do you clean the Ecco Glide shoes?

Ecco Glides are good shoes, made of leather, not cheap plastic imitation leather. In the household aisle of the grocery store or a big-box (Wal-Mart or Target) store, find a tin of saddle soap. It's specifically designed for cleaning leather.
Follow the directions on the soap, but mostly it boils down to three steps:
1. Use a moist/damp rag and get most of the dirt off.
2. Use a (clean!) damp rag to rub a small amount of saddle soap all over your shoes. Rub it in well.
3. Use a (non-soapy!) damp rag to remove the soap.
Good luck!

How to clean a toshiba tz50v51 screen

DO NOT USE under any circumstances a chemical cleaner on the panel. This will damage the screen. If you have finger prints on the screen, use a damp, and wring it out good, non abrasive cloth. Then slightly use pressure just enough to remove the fingerprints. Then dry with a non abrasive cloth using very little pressure.
