What else is happening at the moment that the breaker trips?  Is the microwave on the same circuit? What is the number printed on the breaker (amp rating)?

Are you talking about the circuit breaker in the panelboard or is this a gfi outlet you are talking about?

This happened all of a sudden. Tried another circuit in the house with same result.

Hello gonzomg69,
The two other comments posed at you from Blue Dog and 20YRSEXP are good ones and necessary to get to the root cause of the problem however I have a few ideas to share with you that may help.. First off, I am assuming that the circuit breaker you mention is the one that protects the outlet that feeds your fridge power. If thats correct, and you just started to have breaker trips, the obvious question is ..does that circuit breaker also supply power to other receptacles and do those have any additional appliances or 'loads' on them that are drawing current? The circuit breaker current rating is based on the wire size so that regardless of what you plug into a receptacle, that breaker limits current so you won't melt the insulation or have a fire. Also, you should be aware that circuit breakers do go bad and that may be your problem too..
I hope this information helps you...
Regards,
Rick

You should not have multiple GFCI devices in any one circuit. Change out the outlet and label it

The stove made a popping sound and the circuit breaker popped.i reset the breaker and it popped instantly.

Since you have a gas kitchen range, finding the problem should not be that difficult.

1. Make sure all switches are in the off position. Then reset the circuit breaker. If it didn't trip, then turn one knob on at a time (and then off) until it trips.

2. If the circuit breaker triped with all knobs off, then it would have to be something that is always on like the 12V transformer.

Hopefully, this wiring diagram will be of help.

Frig keeps overloading circuit breaker, just repaced relay

I think the compressor has a problem with its internal running coil , or it's grounded. To check it you can disconect the power to the compressor and then turn on the breaker , and if doesn't tripped the breaker ,you know the compressor is bad.

Fridge keeps tripping the circuit breaker

Unless there is a dedicated circuit of 20 amps to the refrigerator this will continue to happen When your refrigerator goes into defrost and other things like lights fans air conditioners are on the same circuit it will have no choice to not trip the breaker. Try this turn the breaker off and how may thing in your house stop working? You need a 20 AMP circuit or this will possibly damage the compressor or weaken the breaker because it has tripped so many time. Thanks, Please rate my solution, I have done this work for 30 years. Stove trips breaker

Begin by unplugging the pellet stove and using an extension cord, plug the pellet stove into a different circuit, with a different breaker. It is possible that the breaker itself is faulty. If you prove that the problem is in the breaker, replace it. If the new circuit also trips, then you will have to assume that the stove cord, or the stove mechanism is faulty and either repair or replace it. good luck with it. let me know.

Fridge keeps tripping the circuit breaker

Your fridge should draw no more than 5amp. Presuming your breaker is at least 15amp there's a problem. Move to a different circuit first. If the condition persists check the start relay on the compressor. I have a suspicion the circuit may have another item you are not aware of.
