LIGHT, turntable, and fan don't come on

  1. Exhaust fan motor If your exhaust fan motor is not running, there are a couple of things that you can check involving the motor to locate the problem. After removing the fan motor, you can manually attempt to turn the fan blades with your hand. If the fan motor is working properly, the blades should spin effortlessly. If this does not occur and the blades are taught, the motor will need to be replaced. Secondly, the fan motor itself can burn out due to time and usage. Using an ohm meter, the exhaust fan motor should read open for continuity. If it does not, then the fan motor has expired and will need to be replaced.
  2. Thermostat Another part that could cause the microwave exhaust fan to not work is a faulty thermostat. A thermostat gauges the air temperature, which activates the exhaust fan when required. If this part becomes flawed, the exhaust fan will not energize and the thermostat will need to be replaced.
  3. Main control board If your exhaust fan is still not working and the microwave fan motor, wiring, and thermostat are operating accurately, the root cause could be with the main control board. Replace the main control board.

We have a kenmore ultra wave microwave and the fan has stopped working and now the microwave won't operate. Any suggestions?

see this causes and fix it .God bless you
Exhaust Fan Motor If the exhaust fan does not run the fan motor might be bad. Remove the fan motor from the microwave oven and see if the blades can be turned by hand. They should turn very freely, if they're stiff the fan motor will need to be replaced. The fan motor can also burn out. To test this use an Ohm meter. The motor should have continuity. If it does
Thermostat If the microwave exhaust fan is not working the thermostat might be defective. The thermostat senses the air temperature and turns on the fan as needed, if it's defective it won't turn on the fan. Watch our video on testing thermostats.

Main Control Board If the microwave exhaust fan is not working check the exhaust fan motor and wiring. If they are good the main control board might be defective.

Samsung rs2630Ww. internal refrig fan blower not working and water dispenser not working.

This problem could be caused by the motherboard having defective relays, bad fan motor=> DA31-00103A Fan Motor Sounds like someone will need to examine the fan motor and test the voltage to the fans inside and outside the refrigerator. You will need to have this done to eliminate what the cause is. Both condensor and evaporator fan motors are the same part=> DA31-00103A Fan Motor Let me know and I will explain how to remove, test or replace the freezer/evaporator fan motor, wiring or motherboart. Thanks Sea Breeze

Im on my 2nd big buddy and both of them the fan has gone out, the first on went in a week, and this one last a couple of months.

fans
1. oil the bearings, sae 30 or wd40 for places you cant get into.
dont take fan motor apart unelse you realy have to.

dont let your fan motor bearings get worn egg shaped from lack of oil.
2. make sure fan blades not hitting or scraping fan housing and fan blades are securely fastened to fan motor shaft.

3.mr heater fan motor is 12 volts DC , so it may have a segmated comutator and brushes.

I dont know because i have not yet needed to take my mr heater
fan motor apart but i have worked on hundereds of ac fan motors
in the past 65 years.
4. keep fan motors from getting wet. they hate water.
5. keep fans clean, they dont like foriegn materials.

Your specific problem: first fan 2 weeks, second fan 2 months.

how much you use them, are you wearing the brushes down?
Getting fan motor wet? foreign material getting pulled into fan or fan motor? off/on switch work ok. batterys good, battery contacts ok? fan transformer 110 vac to 12 vdc good? fan bearings oiled?
need more info to diagnose properly.
all of the above needs to be checked out to tell whats happened.
fan & fan motor needs to be inspected.

Hunter fan model 25706 both the lights & fan have stopped working

mcdevito75 here, VeryGood question, very good, here we go, ------ First a re-set for the motor, I really don"t know but if there is it"s on the motor itself, you"d have to un-screw the cover just at the ceiling and let this cover slide down the chain Attached from the ceiling to the fan itself. and check the motor itself for a reset swtch, usually a red bitton. Now!! true, if the fan motor is bad it could affect the lights, here"s how, the wall switch supplies electricity to the fan motor and the pull chain on the motor turns the fan on, from the motor itself to the fan lights another wire also from the fan motor goes to the fan lights, SO!! if the fan motor is no good it won"t allow electricity to go on to the fan lights. Maybe you Fan motor is just stuck, specially if you haven"t used it in a whlie, with the wall swiotch on and fan speed on low try to gently move the fan blades them selves. If not you may have to repalace the fan.

Blower fan not working

The fan motor is above the passengers feet.
You will have to check for power to it.
If the fan works on at least one of the speeds, replace the resistor board directly behind the fan motor.....follow the wires from the fan motor to it.
Check the fuse for heater/AC if not power is present at fan motor with fan switch in all positions.
Also sometimes the connections at the fan motor and/or resistor board can overheat and semi melt causing a bad connection.
