Hi Rontib, I am getting my box permanently 'fixed' by someone. but it's going to cost me £20. My suggestion is go back to who you bought it off & see if they can do the same for you.I think telewest will eventually stop mixing the codes. It costs them a lot of money to do it every time. They are just trying to **** people off.
The codes are the same everywhere I have a digivox receiver that is supposed to update itself when the codes are changed by telewest but they have found a way to stop them from updating. I have changed the codes 3 times in the past 2 days and after half an hour all the programmes are lost and I have to put the codes in again. Do you have a solution ??? Rontib.

Unlock codes are going to be IMEI specific (specific to each phone, in other words). The easiest and usually free way to get any phone unlocked is to simply call the carrier or provider it's locked to and ask them for the code. Many times they'll give you the code for free, others charge a fee.....but almost all carriers will require you to be a current customer in good standing.
Hi, PUK code means the Personal Unlock Key which is usually for the simcard.Contact your service provider with a request for the same and they'll send it to you. They'll probably need a few details from you like your name and phone no. before sending you the code.
Hello and Welcome to FixYa.
There are a number of ways to send text message from PC to phone.
But what exactly is your scenario? Do you want to use the internet to send the SMS, or without the internet. In this case you will need to have a phone (GSM Modem) connected to your PC. Actually your query is very broad, I'll need some more info on this to clear my point.
I hope you will understand, I'll wait for your kind response....
