Phone works but says "no service" iFOE Mod. # P168
I cannot use the phone for any phone servcies (texting, calling, receiving). it worked fine when I purchased. After a month or so, the phone said "No service" when I tried to call or text. I know the phone will work in my area and network because it did when I first started using. The AT&T stored does not know why it won't send / receive.

I'm using a friends iFoe P168 Plus and yes, you can reset to manufacturers default settings. Go to "System", then "Settings" and finally, "Restore Factory Settings". Once you do that, the default code to unlock is 1122. If you still have the manual, which I found only partially helpful with this phone, it gives you the default code to unlock.
hi there, call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up message center number on your phone , the one that you have might be incorrect...your mobile operator will send you sim updates that will refresh the settings ....and then you will get the text message options cheers
First you need to call your service provider, AT&T, Orange Etc. and ask the operator to send you the setting for GPRS/WAP. Once you receive the SMS Text message with the settings, just save it and you will be ready to start using the internet.
Thank you for using FixYa! Have a nice day and please remember to rate this solution.
try this......you already have your original sim in.................go to call center, general call settings, more, auto quick end, set this mode to off (ok,back.back...) now make a phone call........tell the person to call you right back
