If water stops when you unplug it then (1) the pressure switch is bad and needs replacing or (2) the pressure hose came off the tub. I cannot see your repyl due to some tech issue w/ the site, so it may be a day or so before I can reply again. Please leave feedback for me if appropriate. Thanks

Washer will not start/ not fill with water. Power circuit ok, house water is running.

Hi there, has the room the machine is in or the machine its self flooded recently? some washing machines have a detector in the tray at the base of the machine that prevents it from operating if it detects water. Try tilting the machine to drain any water out (if there is any!)

Kenmore serie 80.does not stop filling water in and does not star

Yeah I've seen that happen a many of times. Take the back of the control panel off and where your load size selector is you'll find a little hose that's suppoed to be attached to the side of it. just reattach it and you'll be back up and running.

Almost all washing machines use a pressure tube that tells the washer when to stop filling with water. If the tube comes off for some reason the washer will never stop filling and that's an instant flood if you don't notice it quick enough. Also a hole or puncture of any kind can be causing ti to never stop filling as well.

Hope this helps

Water level sensor must be malfunctioning and possibly needs to be replaced and/or water inlet electric valve is malfunctioning (getting no "signal" from level sensor to stop filling). Turn of the machine, unplug it, turn off the water and call the repairman unless you'd like a flood or the fire in the house!

Kenmore 70 Series Top Loan - Fill Cycle won't stop when full

Does the water stop when you push the timer in or are you having to shut the spigots off?? If it stops when the timer is pushed in then you have a problem with the pressure switch. There are quite a few tricks to axcessing your machine's components but if you are handy ill attemt to help.
