Question about Panasonic CT-27G33 27" TV

1 Answer

TV keeps shutting off and then on on its own

I am having trouble with a Panasonic CT-27G33W. The TV shuts off on its and then after a while will turn on again. Sometimes, when the TV shuts off banging it on its side or top will turn it back on but only for a while. Perhaps someone can help. Thanks, A R

I have a 32" Panasonic TV I bought in 2001 that, after being on for a couple of hours, will shut off on it's own. After two minutes it will come back on. Occasionally it will also make a clicking noise (but not at the time it shuts off). Any ideas?

U have a bad solder inside your tv or most of the time called "cold solder". if u have soldering tools, inspect the board inside for possible cold solder and resolder it.

I have a ct-36hl43 thyat when turned on it tries to come on but shuts down and the red power keeps blinking and the only way to stop it from blinking is to pull the wall plug whats the problem??

If you can find the Horizontal output transistor make sure it is not shorted, this set had a issue of repeated shorting of that part after just a few minutes and the cure for that is well known.

To trouble shoot you will need a volt/ohm meter and how to use it, the set if shorted will not always blow the fuse but will go into shutdown to prevent further damage.

Let me know your skill level and if able to use a meter etc or not.

Main fuse blown on CT-32G11 32" Panasonic TV, Replacement fuses continue to blow.

If the main fuse keeps blowing, check the horizontal output transistor for a shorted condition and diodes in that section as well.

Won't turn off

it can happen due to overvoltage shutdown circuit. when voltage is too high, tv will shut down. it is possible that this specific model doesnt fit your local electricity network.
