Green screen on lorex security monitor - Home Security

If you are seeing a green screen viewing the Lorex system remotely, it's mostly likely that you are using a 64 bit OS. Try another computer that has a 32 bit operating system on it. I confirmed with Lorex that you cannot view from a 64 bit OS yet.

There should be a paper clip size hole somewhere on the back of the unit. If you depress the button in there it should be the reset. The problems sounds to me more of a hard drive issue though.

Lorex troubleshooting

The most common reason for loss of camera remote video is an intermittent cable connection between camera and DVR. Try monitoring with a VGA monitor, or TV with analog VGA input also to see if that is the case. Gently move the cables around that run from the cameras to the DVR while observing the multiple cameras showing on the monitor. Some remote viewing software has trouble restoring camera assignments after brief loss of camera signal.

Lorex 2.4 GHz wireless

Hi,

Do the following:
Take the camera down and bring it next to receiver. Alternatively you can bring receiver and monitor next to the camera. If you still have snot, it has nothing to do with the distance. Check if the equipment is working. Have it tested before you mount it.

Cheers
