Question about Canon PIXMA MP780 All-In-One InkJet Printer
My Canon MP780 has started printing blank pages since I removed and cleaned the print head. (Up until then there was a problem with the cyan not printing properly).
I have replaced the printhead with a new one today and put in new cartridges - still nothing. It goes through the correct motions of printing, but every single page is blank.
I have run the clean/head refresh cycle many times - still nothing.
If I remove the printhead and touch it lightly on paper towel, I can see the colours coming through.
There are no error messages.
In the service manual it suggests that the purge tank may need replacing, but it doesn't show where this is and what needs to be done.
Any help gratefully received.

SOURCE: i860 won't print properly
Buying a new printhead is a mighty good suggestion, it seems you have pretty well used up the maximum service life of your printhead, if i'm not mistaken. Try to reinstall your printer along with its software. Go to settings>control panel > remove hardware> then, reboot. After, rebooting, re-install your printer software and drivers.

SOURCE: MP830 Cyan Ink won't print
To Fix the stupid Cyan, just unplug the printer, it may take more that one time unplug, its stupid problem, printer needs to reset, I have a full ink of Cyan but it says this "There is more than one Cyan" on the dispaly on the printer, and windows that its missing. I don't know what idiots programmed the printer. but screw them.

Yes vintos after long storage problems with the printer heads may arrise.
Thermal changes from being in storage can cause the printer heads to dry up and fail.
DO NOT USE ALCOHOL or other solvents in an attempt to clear the printer heads.
1. Attempt to change ink cartridges , this may clear the issue.
If that fails , you may be forced to change printer heads at that point.
