Thanks for the heads up...can you recommend a replacement dishwasher that is cost effective (i.e. cheap) but still quality.

The electronic control is bad; probably not worth the expense to fix as the next thing to go is the touch-pad.

I would only buy Whirlpool. Everything else is trash. Thanks and good luck.

Frigidaire dishwasher fills but then the motor is not running for the wash cycle

Hey Gary, thank you for your inquiry!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire dishwasher fills with water and then the motor will not run to complete the cycle. This could be an issue within the control panel or motor of the dishwasher. Which lights are flashing on the control panel of the dishwasher? Can you provide me with your model number as well? Once I have that additional information I would be able to assist you. -Matt

There are 3 blinking lights on the control panel of my Fridgidaire PLD2850RDS3 dishwasher that will not turn off. The dishwasher will not run

I found where it was plugged in under the sink. I unplugged it and the lights stopped blinking and the dishwasher worked. I ran one dishload and it ran fine. I ran another one and it stopped at 1 minute to go and the lights were blinking again. So now I just unplug it when not in use. I'm runnin another load and see how it goes...

CONTROL LIGHTS BLINK BUT WONT OPERATE

Anytime the lights blink simultaneously on this model, it is because of a major control fault that has occurred.

unplug the unit or shut the breaker off for 3 minutes. if the lights continue to blink after the 3 minute reset, replace the control/timer module asap.

Frigidaire Dishwasher Energy Star blinking lights.

Hmmm...don't know why this worked, but it did. When the lights were flashing when I tried to start my Frigidaire dishwasher model#FDB1500LF, nothing would happen...just blinking lights, so I went to the house electrical panel, found the switch for the dishwasher, turned off & on again, and now the dishwasher works.
Go figure.

Frigidaire Dishwasher (model FDB1050REB0) Wash Light Flashing

Well, I've got a different problem. I need a control module!!!

BUT!

The flashing WASH light appears to indicate the door latch (switch) is not fully engaged. I proved that I mine which works, just doesn't pump out/drain water. If I unlatch the door and then press START, the WASH light blinks.

*WARNING* 120V ELECTRICAL CURRENT! ONLY ATTEMPT THIS IS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

The switch is located behind the control panel (5 screws from the inside.) The Hot (Black) AND Neutral (White) wires comes from the electrical input and pass through the switch. You can do a simple continuity check with the power disengaged to test the path through the switch and into the control module (pins 3 & 9m black and white).

Now... anyone have a Control Module (working) they want to give/sell to me so I don't have to go buy a new dishwasher? I just replaced the drain valve on mine :( If you do, you can send me a note vidioteic (at) gmail (dot) com

Happy Washing!
