If you have forgotten to set date and time then you can also set date and time after turned on the camera. to set date and time follow the given instructions:
Press the Menu button on the rear of the device, then choose Set with left or right button, Then go to Setup menu.
Select Option followed by time icon. This brings up the date display. The display blinks as it has not yet been set.
With the help of Right or left buttons select Year, Month, Day,Hour or Minute. Then press Menu/Ok button after the settings completed. Now every picture captured with the Fujifilm FinePix F460 will save the date and time to the pictures

In the camera menu, there should be a setting for "review" to allow you to set the number of seconds the picture remains on the screen. Also, you can always review the pictures you've taken by pressing the review button on the camera...it's usually a button with an arrow that points to the right.
I just got identical situation today, and I have no clue at all. However, I figure that the camera is actually working busy like someone is holding the "UP" button continuously. To see this, power on your camera at any mode except the "Scene mode". After it's on, turn the mode select knob to "Scene mode". I saw my camera menu flashing like crazy.
When you press any button, the menu should stop running. But once you don't press the button, the menu start running again.
Please let me know if you have any update.
Try moving down, and then moving up. Similarly, try moving the opposing directions for left and right. If there is no way to go in a certain direction, on a certain screen, it will appear that the button isn't working. I think you can solve it now. I have faith in you.
It sounds as if some of the components were damaged by heat. That is not certain until it is looked at by a repair man. The repairs will require the camera to be dismantled to repair anything internally. The repairs on this camera may be more than you want to spend on it. You should consider to either repair it or sell it on a site such as Ebay for repair, parts, and as is.
hi Some of those buttons work in combination with the two dials (i.e., setting ISO and white balance, etc.). Hold a buttin down and user the knobs simoultaneously. If this is not the issue, please describe specifically which buttons are not workin...
Hey, i have had the same problem for over a year. My camera also wasn't briefly showing me the pictures i took right after taking the picture like it used to. Last night i found the "Quick View" function was turned off in the menu (up arrow) of the camera, so i turned it back on. Today i tried the zoom function (i haven't tried it in a year) and IT WORKED!! So i think they are linked somehow.
So try going to your menu (up arrow) then scroll down until it goes to the next page of the menu. Select "Quick View" and turn it on. Then your zoom might work. It worked for me, but i don't know if mine is an isolated incedent.
