Singer CE-200 The bobbin thread breaks and hangs. When starting to sew, the red lights start flashing. I'm forced to turn off and on to get a few more stitches. The machine is slow and if I try to speed up, the thread breaks and snags in the case. This is in the sewing mode. I can't imagine sewing in the embroidery mode with this problem. I checked the tension, changed out the needles, and tried fresh thread. Is there anything else I can do or is it time to visit a tech? Please help and thanks in advance.

Thread my bobbin, Code 88 starts flashing & all lights

I owned a CE-200 for about six years, and as I recall, that code blinks if your needle is not all the way up. If it is NOT up, operations are suspended until it is. That means that the hoop cannot reset to its default position.

While sewing on singer quantum futura ce-200 sewing machine, thread bunchedup on underside of fabric and bobbin case flew out more than once.

Mine did this and it seemed impossible to fix. My problem was a tiny bit of thread stuck in the bobbin cover (but it could be anywhere in the thread route). I ran dental floss through the path the thread follows and also in the bobbin cover and poof out came a small piece of thread that all my looking missed. Hope this helps.

A brand new Singer Quantum Futura CE 200 Sewing/Embroidery machine, have not been able to embroider or sew a single stich, all I have been able to do is wind the bobbin. When I'm going to start...

Dear Magarita, The safety device is activated when thread gets entangled around the bobbin case. First check by removing the plastic see-through plate. If necessary remove the 2 scews on the metal needle plate and remove the bobbin case completely. Put it back and test by turning the handwheel. It should turn freely.

Hope this solves your problem.

Singer futura CE-200 Can not wind the bobbin thread

In embroidery mode, you have to send a design to the machine before the bobbin winder will work.
