Format the computer dude... if you need to save any documents or so.. just run a live linux distro (anyone would do) (or mount your hard drive on another windows-based computer if linux is not going for you) copy your files to some usb stick.. and burn the hell out of the virus with a fresh copy of windows...

Hi,

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

When I put in my password it tells me "The User Profile Service service failed the log on User profile cannot be loaded

switch the laptop on and then after the post messages appear and before windows starts press f8 repeatedly until the startup menu appears choose safe mode then log in as administrator. click start control panel > users > click manage user accounts then click create new user and create the account with administartor rights. Restart the laptop and log in to the new account you created then open computer up and right click on local disk c and click properties then click on tools click the button next to error checking saying check now. It will say windows cannot check a disk while it is in use and would you like to schedule a check on nxt restart or it will have a button saying schedule disk check, if its the latter click it. restart the pc and let it check the disk

after it has started windows try to log back in to your old account

if you cant log in to your old account you may be infected with a virus, scan your laptop.

If you find this useful please vote for me

Hi my computer has a bad virus that i cant get rid of. ive tried a lot of programs but my computer is still the same.

ave you done a full virus scan with up-to-date anti-virus software?

If you don't have any anti-virus software and you use the Internet, you REALLY need to get some! My preferred anti-virus package is Norton Anti-Virus but, if you want a free copy in a hurry, download AVG Anti-Virus from www.grisoft.com - that's also excellent smile.gif

Computer virus (Trojan)has stopped it from logging on

Download malwarebytes from www.malwarebytes.org and update the software and scan the whole system after scanning it show the list of trojans found in your system. Then click remove all infection.
Thats it Restart the PC.

Or

There is another way to disinfect the system.

Download SupterDAT from McaFee Website and place it C:\TEMP
later restart the PC in Safe Mode with Command Prompt.

Then goto root drive of C:

type like this- CD\TEMP
Then u will redirect to C:\TEMP>

There type: sdatXXXX.exe /e
After some time you can see 19 files that were extracted in dirve C:\TEMP>
To see the list of file type: DIR and press enter
You have to wait untill all 19 files extracted.
After that
Type the followin parameters to scan the system.

C:\TEMP>SCAN /ADL /ALL /CLEAN /REPORT REPORT.TXT

This will take lot of time to scan and clears the Trojans and Virus in your PC.

After scanning just type EXIT
and Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and Restart the PC from Taskmanger.

Hope this will resolve the issue,

Thanks & Regards
Nandu :)
