Hp deskjet 5650 - error states "close cover" -- cover appears to have closed

I'd suggest a power reset. Sometimes the device is unable to recover itself.

From HP's website:
  • Press the Power button (c01602202.gif ) to turn on the product.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait 15 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
  • Press the Power button (c01602202.gif ) to turn on the product.

HP Deskjet F380 All in One has no power

Have you checked the power inverter to see if it has come unplugged? and have you checked the plug in on the printer itself? on some models of HP printers you may not get the plugs in all the way and they can vibrate loose over time. To check pull apart and reconnect just to make sure. Also is the printer on a power strip outlet? if so try a different outlet to see if it works on a different power plug. The power strips and sockets due fail every now and then. and if you have a APS system you could have a bad plug in. Hope this helps and thanks for using fix-ya

The wii was unplugged inadvertantly, once plugged back in it won't turn light does not come on...what are the possible reasons ...cable had gone out earlier in day and had to reboot

You most likely need to reset the AC adapter.

This is a common problem with the Wii. Even if it's hooked up to a surge protector. If there was a power surge, or the power went out, etc...anything, this will happen. You plug it back in, the power comes on, but it appears dead. The problem is with the AC adapter, not the Wii itself.

There is a circuit inside the AC adapter that needs to be reset. Unplug the AC adapter from the wall/surge protector outlet. Don't unlpug it from the Wii, it has to be at the outlet. You have to kill power to the adapter.

Unlpug it from the wall/surge protector outlet, and leave it unplugged for 5 or 10 minutes. This will kill power to the AC adapter, and give the circuit time to reset. When you plug the adapter back into the outlet after 5 or 10 minutes, the red led on the front should be lit up, and it should work.

Is there power coming out from the supply end
Is is a DC or and AC output supply?
If is it an AC output supply tyhebm in the back of the HP had an AC to DC converted that is realy a diode bridge and should contain a fuse in the circuit somewhere on that board

My 2350 all in one will not turn on.

I'm not sure if this is a solution, but it worked for me. ( who knows how long it will last, but its working for now)

Below are the steps I took:

    - uninstalled all the HP drives and software
    - unplugged the USB cable from the computer and printer
-unplugged power supply from the outlet and printer
-plugged the USB back in to computer and printer
-unplugged the power supply from the power module. Made sure everything looked ok,
-reattached power supply cord to module ( Made sure everything looked ok,)
-plugged power supply in to outlet ( green light was on)
-proceeded to plug power module connector to printer. ( again, making sure proper connection was made.

    * this time the screen came with an error and the "on" power light was blinking.:
    This was the error message:

-I proceeded to unplug the power and usb from the printer
-downloaded the lastest drivers and software for the PSC 2350
-After the software was loaded and installed ( I checked the box to install with out USB communication at this point)
    - plugged the power and then the USB.
-It came to life at that point. (the computer recognized the "new" product)Going through what I presume were several realignments or internal configurations.

I tested a page, and ran the HP Dinostic's page. Everything checked out, and its running fine for now.

I hope this may have given you some ideas as to fixing your printer.
